Denver filmmakers seek funding for movie with furry subplot

Author: Higgs Raccoon

Gaylord Street Films, a small film-production company in Denver, Colorado, is seeking funding for a new film-noir project.

And the script features furries.

The campaign has some enticing incentives for donors, from getting a “Special Thanks” in the credits (only a buck!) to appearing in a scene doing strange things in a giant animal suit (furries, this is your big shot, for only $300!)

  1. I’m sorry, but “Hey furries, have $300 to do weird things in a fursuit” sounds pretty retarded to bait furries into getting black marked in the fandom just for selling out and making it look bad. Remember Chewfox and her blanket terms? Yeah, same thing here. God people won’t shut up about the CSI episode and that wasn’t even that bad! Maybe if this was a parody and not to be taken seriously that’d be fine, but when it’s part of a plot/subplot and involves fursuiters acting in some strange manor, $300 isn’t going to be enough to buy back the fandoms grace.

  3. And people still wonder why furries distrust the media so hard. This movie looks like its four-dollar-budget got spent making that “trailer” thing.

  4. This movie looks cheap and the trailer is boring. And if its a fursuiter posing as a murderer, rapist, thief, etc our fandom should have nothing to do with it. $300 bucks to be a retard.

  5. “Strange things in an animal suit” This already sounds like another shitty plot to defame furries. No thanks. =.=’

Correct me if I’m wrong, but are they asking us to pay them $300 to look like an ass and be hated by the rest of the fandom? Do they really think furries are that stupid?
