  1. As a company, we do not post auctions of our own; we host auctions and host other sales for users. We simply provide the service and location to put things up for sale, we are not selling anything ourselves besides that service. You are certainly welcome to post auctions for items and donate the proceeds to a charity on your own, just please do not use the actual term “charity” unless you can provide a receipt for donation to a 501c3 charitable organization within the United States that the ‘buyer’ can use towards their taxes. Please let us know if there is anything else you need to know. Thanks,

    • I’m am very confused. What is this about?
The word “Charity” I’ve seen used in multiple auctions on Furbuy. Let alone the fact that i am using FurBID, but furbuy.

I already planned on proving where the money went as unneeded drama is stupid. Though i have no idea what 501c3 means. >. >

501c3 is the designation for a Non-Profit corporation. Donations to SOME, not all non-profits can be taken off on your taxes next year.

There was also confusion between “FurBID” & “FurBUY”

Before everyone gets caught up – FurBID is where the auction is being held. FurBuy is a competing auction site that has had its own issues lately.
